Take a look at these 2 Screen shots: This is a shot of my linux desktop. I am using Firefox to view Wincustomize.com. NOTE the font used. This is a shot again of Wincustomize using XP and IE. NOTE the font looks normal? HOW do I get Firefox to display WC EXACTLY like IE does?
Well of all people you wouldn't expect a Firefox post from me but I have to use Firefox while using Linux so I have some questions! Problem number 1 - In IE I can click anywhere in the adress bar and the whole bar gets highlighted so that when you go to type in the bar all the old text disappears allowing you to input a new internet address. Well I now have no Microsoft products running on the PC - I switched to Fedora Core 3 Linux. Overall I am very happy with it! I am even impressed with Firefox! Of course I still have XP on a different partition. Any advice from anyone about running Linus/Firefox?
Here's what I am looking for. I was wondering if there is a nice little program that sits next to the clock in the system tray and will tell you the temp of your cpu and system as well as monitor the fan speeds. I have already tried sysmetrix and desktopx. Any ideas? Suggestions?
After fighting a losing battle and after realizing how messed up IE is, I have decided to try out other browsers. I now admit that maybe even if IE is a bit faster Firefox has more features. The more features I have at my disposal the more work I can get done. Not to mention you guys are right about IE not being the most "secure" browser out there.
