I was curious if anyone knew of any software that will allow me to select a bunch of photos and rename them all in one operation. I want to rename a bunch of photos by number but don't want to do it one by one. Too time consuming.
Microsoft has unveiled a website aimed at raising awareness of browser security by comparing the ability of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome to withstand attacks from malware, phishing, and other types of threats. It looks like this site gives any browser besides IE bad marks. Looks like all MS is trying to do is spread FUD around about other browsers. http://yourbrowsermatters.org/
I was curious if anyone knew of a program where you drop in pictures in the order you want them to appear on the computer and the program renames them in order such as 1,2,3 etc.
It's been a few years and I thought the problem would resolve itself yet it hasn't. The problem is that WC is still very slow and most times I can't even get the site to load. I'm on a brand new notebook on a 15 Mbps connection. This site takes ages to load in IE and Firefox. I'm not upset, just curious as to what's going on. Anyone else having connection issues?
Well I guess that's the last time I do a Craigslist deal. Any ideas on how to fix? Video tells the tale. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVdsuXGn4oQ
I bought a notebook second hand the other day off of CL. I was not informed it was broke. So take a look at the picture and tell me if you would trash the machine or not. The machine is still under warranty yet Acer will not fix it unless I pay them almost $300 dollars. The damage does not effect the machine's use except I thiunk the SD card reader is not working. Thoughts?
I've noticed an issue with my Lightscibe discs. After labeling them and storing them in a CD case the label itself is fading. I have no idea why this is going on. Using Vertabrim and Memorex DVD-R media.
My friend has an aging and old HP computer. The CPU is one of the old 2.8 or 3 GHz Pentium 4 models along with 512 MB of DDR 2700 memory. It also has a SATA hard drive. The issue is that the PC frezzes up on Facebook while playing flash games. It is connected to the net via WiFi and I have checked out my router settings and the Windows XP settings and the connection seems fine. The PC just seems to freeze no matter what browser we use. I think the hard drive is on it's last leg. She really...
I have this issue. Take a look at the first shot here. It says there are 2 locations for this library yet it does not show the separately and that's how I like it. however the Music library shows both locations. How do I get it to not do that? Basically I want the music library the view like the documents library.
I'm looking for a program that will give me a Virtual CDROM drive. Any good programs out there? I have searched but I was thinking I would what you guys are using.
I was wondering if there is a way to change the way Windows 7 shows the My Document folder. Last time I had Windows 7 I do not recall the system showing the "Includes 2 Locations" part. Is there a way to get rid of that?
I am using Windows 7 64 bit. Today I noticed that the pop up preview is not working. I mouse over any program in the taskbar and nothing pops up. The only thing I have changed recently was installing updates and the new Nvidia driver. I checked the properties of the taskbar and everything is just the same as it was. It's just not working. Any ideas on how to fix?
Well I had an urge to play Final Fantasy 7. I have the PC version. It played just fine when I was running Windows XP. So I try to play it a few days ago. Even with all the compatibility items checked and employed the pogram will not play. So I google it and find out many people have this same issue. That's to be understood as it's a game made for Windows 95. So I install Virtualbox and Windows XP within a virtual PC. I install FF7 yet it will still not play. Anyone know how to get old game...
Seems I have a problem here. I have a Biostar Tforce4 U motherboard. For some reason this board really does not play nice with the Nforce4 drivers. By that I mean if i try to burn a CD or DVD using Nero it will not work. The DVD Burner is on SATA. The hard drive is IDE. However if I switch back to regular Windows XP drivers than the disk will burn. Top that off with the system will reboot itself from time to time due to an error. The error has something to do with minidumping or something. I can...
Is Windows Update working for everyone or is the site down? I keep getting errors when I try to get updates over a Wi-Fi connection. Newly installed XP SP2. Windows firewall is off. I'm getting this error code: 0x80072EFE. Wi-Fi is the only way his notebook can connect. No LAN or Modem ports. Thanks.
